ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has met with journalists and spokehis heart out over the controversies surrounding the new government.
He has asked the people to hold the government accountable after threemonths.
Talking to senior journalists on Friday, he urged the media to help thegovernment in collecting money from overseas Pakistanis. “The people willcry when we will hold them accountable,” he said.
To a question about the selection of a bureaucracy team, said that his teamwould work as per his vision. “Please tell me if any minister is involvedin corruption,” he added.
He said that the government will not start big projects. “We will work onhuman development,” he added.
About the Pakpattan DPO transfer, Imran Khan said that he is following themodel of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here. “I did not intervene in the matter andasked the principal secretary to get a briefing from the IGP Punjab in thisregard,” he said.
To another question about the helicopter, he said that he had used thehelicopter to save the people from inconvenience.
During the meeting, it was revealed that Prime Minister Imran Khan did notknow that the Supreme Court had taken suo motu notice of the Pakpattan DPO.
