Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has expressed the commitment to furtherstrengthen relations with Pakistan.
He was talking to Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Dushanbe onWednesday.
The Tajik President expressed satisfaction over the nature of bilateralcooperation between the two countries.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said there are lot of opportunities of expandingrelations between the two countries in different fields including trade.
The Foreign Minister noted that the early completion of CASA 1000 projectwill prove to be instrumental for establishment of energy corridor amongstthe South and Central Asian states.

On the occasion, they also discussed regional security situation includingthe Afghan peace process.
The Foreign Minister said Pakistan will continue its sincere efforts forpeace in Afghanistan.
