ISLAMABAD – The Finance Ministry has blocked the funds of the NationalAccountability Bureau (NAB).

The move has put the salaries of the employees and officers in danger,media report has surfaced.

After the blockage of reward and recovery, repair of vehicles and marriagegrant, the Finance Ministry has also stopped the NAB’s hardship allowance.

The ministry pays two percent of the recoveries to the NAB.

Meanwhile, the government has decided to stop the allowances of theemployees in the coming budget. Sources said that a consultative summaryhas been prepared in this regard.
