PSL – 6: Good news for the Pakistani cricket fans

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has formulated a plan of action to ensurespectator participation in the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League(PSL).

The sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League will begin on February 20 atthe National Stadium in Karachi, where it was initially decided to holdmatches in the stadium due to the coronavirus.

In view of the improving situation during the second wave of coronavirus inthe country, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials have devised a plan toallow a limited number of spectators to come to the stadium to watch thematches.

In this regard, the top officials of the PCB will meet the officials of theNational Command and Operations Center (NCOC) next week and the ChiefExecutive of the PCB Wasim Khan will also share the plan regarding thearrival of cricket fans at the stadium.

The PCB plans to bring 40% of the spectators to the stadium in PSL 6 andwill take care of the social distance and Coronavirus SOPs inside thestadium.

The final decision on the arrival of spectators at the stadium will be madewith the permission of the NCOC and the government.

It should be noted that the coronavirus has severely affected sportscompetitions around the world and last year many sports articles werecancelled due to this reason.
