ISLAMABAD – In a big embarassment, Indian Agencies admits failure toconnect deadliest Pulwama attack with Pakistan.

Before the first anniversary of the most deadly Pulwama attack in Jammu andKashmir (J&K), where Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) claimed the lives of 40 CRPFpersonnel, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is scrambling to find aPakistan link to the attack.

Last week, the self-styled Kashmir chief of Jaish-e-Mohammad Qari Yasir waskilled in a fierce encounter in the PariTral area of Awantipora in SouthKashmir. Qari was involved in the last year’s February (IED) blast and alsoLethpora IED blast, India today has reported

He was an IED expert and was involved in recruitment.

Sources said that the agency has no plans to file the chargesheet evenafter 11 months since no terrorist has been caught alive. “We need a “live”link to connect the terrorist to JEM, Pakistan,” said a top official. “Allthe accused in the case are dead.”

However, in a major development, the agency has managed to get a DNA matchto parents of Adil Ahmed Dar, the suicide bomber. Sources said that sincethe suicide attack blew the vehicle and flesh of victims to pieces, it wasdifficult to find the remains of the suicide bomber.

A top source told India Today TV, that the evidence was painstakinglycollected with flesh strewn around from field, high tension electric wires, and shreds of a human body which clung to metal parts.

Since then, several labs including CFSL, across the country were sent thesample. But the reports in December positively proved that suicide bomberwas indeed Dar.ADVERTISEMENT

The agency had earlier collected DNA samples from Adil’s father GhulamHasan Dar and his wife. The Jaish link has been established by the video which was uploaded by Adilsoon after the terror attack.

In a numbing video, Adil had claimed: “By the time this video reaches you,I will be enjoying in heaven… This is my last message for the people ofKashmir… Jaish has kept the flame alive and stayed put in adversecircumstances.”

“Come, join the group and prepare for one last fight,” he says in thevideo, exhorting Kashmiri youth to wage a jihad against India.” But sourcessaid the video is a sole link and it fails to establish a direct link toJaish chief Maulana Masood Azhar or the deputies.

Adil Ahmad Dar, also known as Adil Ahmad Gaadi Takranewala, was a residentof Gundibagh village in Pulwama district of South Kashmir and a member ofJaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) suicide squad.
