ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s latest teen sensation, Shaheen Shah Afridi, has alsospilled the beans about his inclusion in the PSL 3 and how his franchisehelped him to perform in the crunch situations confidently.——————————
The 18-year-old said while speaking with a local TV channel.
When I came to PSL, I was a fresh graduate from U19 team. It was a newexperience for me to play against top cricketers and in this scenario,Lahore Qalandars gave me confidence which will always remain with me.
Recalling his early days, Shaheen revealed that during the early matches ofPSL 3, he was disappointed with his performance and went to LahoreQalandars’ management and offered to return all the money paid to him underthe contract.——————————
“I was very disappointed, so I went to them but at that time they expressedfull confidence in me, and that helped me to make a strong comeback in thetournament,” he said.
Now a regular part of the national team, Shaheen Afridi has proved that heis capable of achieving big things for the country.
So far, he has picked up nine wickets in three Test matches, 19 wickets in10 ODIs and has 11 scalps in just 7 T20Is.
