Pakistan latest ballistic Missile capable of defeating Indian Missile Defence System

*RAWALPINDI – Pakistan on Thursday conducted another successful launch ofshort range surface-to-surface ballistic missile ‘Nasr’ as part of ArmyStrategic Forces Command training exercise which included quad salvo onJanuary 24 and single shots on January 28 and 31.*

According to the ISPR, the 2nd phase of this exercise was aimed at testingthe extreme in-flight maneuverability, including the end flightmaneuverability; capable of defeating, by assured penetration, anycurrently available *BMD system* in our neighborhood or any other systemunder procurement / development.

The launch was witnessed by General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, *Chairman JCSCommittee*, Director General Strategic Plans Division, Commander ArmyStrategic Forces Command, Chairman NESCOM, senior officers from the ArmyStrategic Forces Command, scientists and engineers of strategicorganizations.

The *Chairman JCS Committee* appreciated the participating troops,scientists and engineers on achieving yet another milestone of nationalsignificance towards Pakistan’s strategic deterrence capability. He praisedthe professional attributes and dedicated efforts of all concerned whichmade possible the successful launch of Weapon System.
