LAHORE – Tremors were felt in Lahore, Islamabad and other parts of thecountry on Wednesday.
Tremors were also reported in Peshawar and Abbottabad, as well as inBalochistan. The quake also jolted parts of neigbouring countries, Indiaand Pakistan.
The quake’s epicenter was Afghanistan-Hindukush region and itsintensity has been gauged at 6.1.
It was so intensive that people came out from houses and offices in severalcities of Punjab, KP, and Balochistan.
Several houses collapsed in Lasbela where one child was killed and ninepeoples were injured.
