ISLAMABAD - PM Imran Khan rejects Punjab Bureaucracy's proposed police reforms draft in meeting with the Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar.

Prime Minister Imran Khan met with the Punjab Chief Minister, who gave briefing on dengue situation and police reforms.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had given a deadline of September 30 for the implementation of police reforms. In this regard, the Chief Minister apprised Prime Minister Imran Khan about police reforms while IG Punjab Arif Nawaz also briefed the Prime Minister on the Police Reforms Act.

PM rejected bureaucracy draft on police reforms, and asked to send new propopals by Punjab government in 8 days.

PM Imran Khan met Chief Minister Usman Bazdar who was accompanied by IG Punjab Arif Nawaz.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan lashed out at Chief Minister Usman Bazar for failing to take any initiative against the dengue virus. The Chief Minister also apprised the Prime Minister of the steps taken to prevent dengue outbreak.
