RAWALPINDI: The father of Lieutenant Arslan, who was martyred in a terrorist attack on the Pakistani post in Rajgal valley two months ago, died of cardiac arrest.
In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa deeply saddened on the sudden demise of father of martyred Lt Arslan, Shamsher Alam Satti.
The statement further said that not only the sacrifices of armed forces soldiers but the sacrifices by our families continue.
In September, the 22-year-old lieutenant was martyred in a terrorist attack on the Pakistani post in Rajgal valley. Alam, who was the commanding officer of the post got hit and was killed.
