The Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms & Special Initiatives, Asad Umar, revealed that the scope of Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Youth Entrepreneurship Program would be further expanded to provide loans to almost 100,000 more youngsters to facilitate them, generate employment and ensure their socio-economic development. ------------------------------

The minister chaired a meeting in Islamabad on Monday to review the program. The meeting was attended by the Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs, Muhammad Usman Dar, Secretary Planning, and others.
Usman Dar informed the attendees about the progress of the two components that have been already launched under the program. ------------------------------

He apprised that over Rs. 7 billion loans have been disbursed to nearly 6,000 youngsters so far.
Note that six flagship programs will be launched under the ‘Kamyab Jawan Programme’ which includes ‘Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme’, ‘Skill for All Program’, ‘Startup Pakistan Program’, ‘Green Youth Movement (GYM)’, ‘Internship Program’, and ‘Jawan Markaz’.
