Turkish Chief awarded Nishan-e-Imtiaz military by President Mamnoon

ISLAMABAD: Turkish Chief of General Staff Hulusi Akar was awarded Nishan-e-Imtiaz military by President Mamnoon Hussain.

 

As per details, a ceremony was held here at today (Wednesday) in President House to hinged badge of Nishan-e-Imtiaz to Turkish Chief of General Staff. Turkish ambassador in Pakistan, Pakistan Defense Secretary, General Raheel Sharif and General Rashid participated in the ceremony.

 

General Hulusi was conferred Nishan-e-Imtiaz over his services to further strengthen the military relations of both countries.

 

Speaking at the occasion, President Mamnoon Hussain congratulated General Hulusi, awarding Nishan-e-Imtiaz and appreciated his efforts to enhance defense cooperation of both countries.

 

While expressing his grief over the recent suicide blast in Turkey saying that Pakistan is also facing the challenge of terrorism but operation Zarb-e-Azab was launched by government for the elimination of terrorism and it will continue till the end of last miscreant.

 

President Mamnoon further added that both countries has close religious and cultural historical relations stressing to further enhance bilateral ties in different fields.

 

Addressing the ceremony, General Hulusi thanked to President Mamnoon for awarding him Nishan-e-Imtiaz and expressed his hope that Pakistan and Turkey relations will further strengthen in future.
