Frustrated Reham Khan has started to even mock religion for cheap popularity

ISLAMABAD – Reham Khan, the former wife of Pakistan Ttehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan, shared a doctored image showing her wearing a beard, a move which drew mixed but extreme reactions on the social media.

Khan, who has been in the news ever since she parted ways with Imran Khan, captioned the eerie picture that it was in the backdrop of an offer to join a political party.

‘So a while ago I was offered to join a party. I said I might not be able to cover my face but I could grow a beard..looks rather fetching on me,’ said the former BBC presenter while keeping the name of the political force secret.

Another aspect about the picture, that has become a new reason for Twitterati to fire a broadside at the former journalist, is that Reham Khan can be seen wearing an all-white dress – a style adopted by Imran Khan’s current wife, Bushra Maneka.

She fired another tweet, seeking help from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to edit the cover photo of her upcoming ‘tell-all’ memoir.

Besides the ‘insensitive’ tweet, another video of Khan went viral on the internet in which she was seen adjusting a white outfit, in a manner resembling Bushra Maneka’s one.

Though the former First Lady aspirant tweeted the photo in the wee hours of Saturday, the tech-savvy supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and other religious-conscious groups took no time before they started chiding Reham Khan for having mocked a religious outfit.
