United Nations has underlined the need to end Israeli occupation to lay the foundations for enduring peace in the Middle East.
In a message to mark 50 years since the start of 1967 Arab-Israel war, the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said it is the only way to achieve the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
The UN Secretary General called for return to direct negotiations to resolve all final status issues on the basis of relevant UN resolutions, agreements and international law.
