KARACHI: (APP) A Chinese company `TEBA has expressed keen interest to work on solar and wind energy projects, operating these projects through all-in-one modern Hybrid Storage and distribution system in Sindh.
These views were expressed by a delegation of Chinese company `TEBA while talking to Chairperson Sindh Board of Investment, Naheed Memon.
The delegation led by Director, International Business Department, TEBA, Hou Peng called on the chairperson SBI at her office in the Finance and Trade Centre here on Friday, said the spokesperson SBI.
Hou Peng said Sindh is a very suitable province for wind corridor and solar energy projects, therefore, his company wants to invest in wind and solar energy generation projects.
He told the chairperson SBI that his company has already been working on a project of solar power in Quaid-e-Qzam Park in the Punjab province.
Talking to the delegation, Naheed Memon said that the Government of Sindh is encouraging the projects of renewable energy and environment-friendly because the wind and solar power projects are environment-friendly, thus the government intends to extend all possible cooperation for such projects.
The chairperson, SBI, briefed the chinese delegation regarding attractive incentives and policies offered by the Sindh government for the investors.
She also on behalf of the Sindh Government appreciated the programmes of the company for investment in power generation and extend full cooperation in this regard.
