MUMBAI – Indian actor Salman Khan lands in trouble for hurting Hindureligious sentiments in his new movie.
BoycottDabangg3 has been trending on Twitter since Friday morning after asection of netizens expressed dismay over Salman Khan’s upcoming movie,claiming it hurts Hindu sentiments, reported *The Quint*link.
They mentioned a scene in the song *Hud Hud Dabangg*, which shows*sadhus* (holymen) clad in saffron and dancing with guitars in their hands, is aimed at“maligning” and “insulting” Hindu culture, and hence demanded the boycottof the Sonakshi Sinha-starrer.
The micro-blogging platform has been abuzz with angry tweets from users.One tweeted, “#BoycottDabangg3. In the film, sages have been depicted asdancing with Salman in a hideous and objectionable manner on the bank of ariver.
Some sages are shown playing guitar in a western style.” Another wrote,“Bollywood is doing all such miserable things for fame and money.
They are not bothered about our religious sentiments. We have to make themthing about this. Strong demand #BoycottDabangg3”.
Another user posted, “We are proud of our Sadhu, Maharshi who gave us manyuseful inventions to whom the whole world is following now! Insulating suchgreat Sadhus is insulting our culture!! #BoycottDabangg3.”
