Fakhar Zaman faces a setback

ISLAMABAD – Fakhar Zaman faces a setback as he has been advised to takerest of three to four months.

Zaman will take a rest from Pakistan’s test series against South Africafollowing his fitness issues.

Pakistan will play three-match test series against South Africa startingfrom December 26 at SuperSport Park in Centurion, South Africa.

Zaman struggled during the New Zealand series due to some fitness issuesand currently going through rehabilitation at National Cricket Academy(NCA) in Lahore.

According to the PCB’s medical panel, Zaman is yet to get completely fitand will take some more time to participate in any contest.

The panel’s doctor also suggested Zaman take rest for an additional threeto four weeks.
