Lahore: The head of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s management committee, ZakaAshraf, says that after the World Cup, they will clean up the board andselect a good team. There is no disagreement in the team. Former cricketershave opened their shops on TV and criticize the team.
He said that Sarfaraz Ahmed was invited to congratulate him on winning theQuaid-e-Azam Trophy. Shah Nawaz Dhani was also present at the meeting.There was no discussion about making Sarfaraz Ahmed the captain.
According to private TV, Zaka Ashraf said that before the World Cup, he didnot have the right to cancel the leagues of players, but the boardofficials said that the players have prior contracts, so permission wasgranted.
