Lahore police have registered a case of the murder of Deputy InspectorGeneral (DIG) Shariq Jamal Khan. According to the police, the deceased DIGwas poisoned, and the case was filed three months later based on the claimof the deceased’s daughter, Hania Sharjeel Khan.
The police have stated that there are seven suspects in the case of DIGSharjeel Jamal’s murder.
According to the FIR, DIG Shariq Jamal’s death was initially staged as anatural death, but it was revealed that there were injuries during the timeof death. There were missing 80 million in US dollars and 500,000 in cash,and important documents were also missing.
