Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said Sunday that the month of November wouldprove to be decisive politically.
Addressing a press conference in Sialkot, he said that the nationalpolitics had reached an important turning point.
“The Pakistan Army is still rendering sacrifices against terrorism,” hecommended the sacrifices of the armed forces.
“The real face of Imran Khan has exposed before the public. Who is he togive advice on the appointment of the army chief?” he castigated.
“Imran Khan came out with 10-12,000 people, and only 3,000 of them have nowbeen left. What will happen to the long march when it reaches Islamabad?”he made a sarcastic remark.
“According to the Constitution, the appointment of the army chief is theprerogative of the prime minister,” he emphasised.
“Imran Khan has sent a message to decide the appointment of the army chieftogether. India is celebrating the statements of Imran Khan,” he deplored.
“Where is it written that the army chief should be appointed throughnegotiation?” he questioned.

“The constitutional term of the National Assembly will end in August nextyear. Then, elections will be held after 90 days,” he declared.
“Imran Khan and his associates are talking about a bloody march. Thegovernments of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will be responsible ifthere is any bloodshed,” he warned.
“98 per cent route of the long march comes in Punjab and KP,” he added.
“This country made Imran Khan the prime minister, but the honour he gothere did not satisfy him,” he loathed.
“Imran Khan’s anti-army statements are being celebrated in India. How didit come to Imran Khan’s mind that the appointment of the army chief is thepart of politics, and he can take part in it?” he abhorred.
