LAHORE – A complaint has on Friday been lodged against Pakistan MuslimLeague-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ayaz Sadiq at Lahore’s Civil Lines PoliceStation over his statement regarding release of Indian fighter pilotAbhinandan Varthaman.
According to details, police have forwarded the application to legaldepartment for consultation. Police officials maintained that action overthe complaint will be taken as per the law.
On the other hand, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting ShibliFaraz said in his tweet that the matter of Ayaz Sadiq’s statement has gonebeyond apology as the law will come into effect now.
Weakening the state is an unforgivable crime and Ayaz Sadiq and hissupporters must be punished for that, the minister stressed.
