Pakistan Military damages the Afghan border posts firing at Pakistani sides

RAWALPINDI:Pakistan Military damages the Afghan border posts firing atPakistani sides.

Security forces of both Pakistan and Afghanistan traded fire along theborder on Tuesday as the former inflicted substantial damage to thelatter’s border posts.

According to the ISPR, an exchange of fire took place after Afghan securityforces fired mortars and heavy machine guns from Nari District in Kunarprovince.

The shelling from the Afghan security forces targeted civilian populationin Arundu village, Chitral where six soldiers and five citizens wereinjured.

Pakistan troops responded effectively and targeted Afghan Border postsKandkxi and Dilbar from where fire was being initiated.
