Internet services fully restored across Pakistan, claims PTA

ISLAMABAD – Internet services in Pakistan have been completely restored inPakistan after the fault developed in an international submarine cable wasrepaired, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority stated on Wednesday.

In a statement by the PTCL spokesman, the company regretted anyinconvenience that had been caused by the disruption in services.

In a post shared on Twitter on Tuesday, PTCL had said: “We regret to informyou that due to international submarine cable fault, internet services areimpacted across Pakistan.

“Our technical teams are working on fully restoring internet services. Weapologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.”

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) online check-in systems also wentdown across the country due to the underwater cable fault.
