LAHORE – Hamza Shahbaz Sharif faces yet another blow as an accountabilitycourt on Wednesday extended the judicial remand of Opposition Leader inPunjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz in assets beyond income case.
Accountability court judge Chaudhry Ameer Khan heard the case. The NationalAccountability Bureau (NAB) presented Hamza Shehbaz before court. The courtextended judicial remand of the opposition leader till November 13.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor was inquired from bythe court regarding a formal reference against the politician. Theprosecutor replied that the reference was in relay and required signaturesand approval from the chairman NAB.
On the other hand, the court also approved the exemption plea from courtappearance of Hamza Shehbaz Sharif’s father Shehbaz Sharif in Ramazan SugarMills case. The hearing was adjourned till November 12.
