BONN – In Germany, former nurse Niels Hogel has admitted murdering onehundred patients on his first day of trial, making him one of the world’smost prolific serial killers.
According to German detectives, he administered fatal doses of medicationto the people in his care at two hospitals in northern Germany with motiveto impress colleagues by resuscitating the very patients he had attacked.
Hogel is already serving a life term for six deaths while in his care.
