In Karachi, the Chairman of the PCB Management Committee, Zakaa Ashraf, hasproposed the Gandhi-Jinnah Series to the Indian board. Speaking on ARY Newsprogram ‘Bouncer,’ Zakaa Ashraf, the Chairman of the PCB ManagementCommittee, conveyed the suggestion for the Gandhi-Jinnah Series to theIndian board.
During the conversation, he emphasized that there is no greater cricketrivalry than that between Pakistan and India, and both countries shouldstrive to enhance their cricketing relations. He stated that Pakistan andIndia must work together to improve their cricketing ties, as there is nocontest greater than that between their cricket teams.
Zakaa Ashraf also questioned why, when teams from Australia and Englandhave visited Pakistan, the Indian team has not. He urged for India to comeand play in Pakistan, highlighting the importance of strengtheningbilateral cricketing ties.
Furthermore, Zakaa Ashraf noted that Pakistan possesses a pool of talentedplayers, including stars like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and ShaheenAfridi, who have excelled in international cricket and performed well evenin warm-up matches. This highlights the depth of talent within Pakistan’scricketing ranks.
