On Saturday, the Federal Shariat Court (FSC) scheduled a hearing date forthe review petition related to the nikah case of former Prime Minister andPTI Chairman, Imran Khan. As reported by 24NewsHD TV channel, athree-member bench, presided over by Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman and alsoincluding Justice Khadim Hussain Sheikh and Justice Dr. Syed MuhammadAnwar, is set to convene on October 2 to deliberate on the petition. Thisdevelopment follows the FSC’s prior disposal of a petition submitted byShahid Orakzai on February 7, 2022, which subsequently led to the filing ofthis review petition.
