The Chinese ambassador says that China is ready to assist Pakistan inovercoming its short-term economic challenges. According to private TVchannel Geo News, during a speech at the ceremony of China’s National Dayin Islamabad, Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zhi Dong mentioned that they areprepared for the construction of an upgraded version of the CPEC(China-Pakistan Economic Corridor).
CPEC stands as a symbol of Pak-China friendship in every difficulty. Healso expressed that China looks forward to cooperation with Pakistan onjoint projects and is ready to help with short-term economic challenges.
During the event, the Chinese ambassador also expressed the determinationto work on progress and balanced security. Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani,speaking at the ceremony, said that the completion of CPEC will lead theentire region towards development and prosperity.
