Peshawar Zalmi’s owner, Javed Afridi, has proposed a Coronavirusfundraising match between Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Indian PremierLeague (IPL) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Zalmi’s owner floated the idea on his official Twitter account.

While the funding raised from the PSL vs. IPL match will be directedtowards the people affected by the economic impacts of the Covid-19pandemic, it will be a huge step in bringing Pakistan and India closer.
Earlier this month, Surinder Khanna, former Indian cricketer and member ofthe Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council, had also voiced supportfor organizing matches between the PSL and IPL champions.
The 64-year-old expressed hope that relations between the two nuclear-armedneighbors would move in a positive direction in the future, adding thatcricketing fans all over the world want to witness Pakistani players takeon Indian cricketers.
