*NEW YORK – Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has sternlywarned India over any misadventures on borders.*

*Qureshi warned India that if it did any venture across the Line of Control(LoC), or acted upon its doctrine of limited war against Pakistan, it willevoke an effective, strong and matching response.*

Talking to media persons in New York, he said India had frequently violatedthe ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir in an attempt todivert the world’s attention from its endless brutalities in Kashmir, butPakistan acted with restraint.

He said Pakistan knows to defend its interests and ideology.

The foreign minister said his meeting with the United Nations SecretaryGeneral remained fruitful. He said the UN Secretary General will soon visitIndia and Pakistan.

He said Pakistan supports comprehensive reforms in the United Nations.

Qureshi said Pakistan reflected the sentiments of the Muslim world braising the issue of blasphemous caricatures in the United Nations,
