KABUL – A military helicopter crashed in Koh Safi district of Parwan onSaturday, wounding at least six army crews aboard.
Parwan governor’s spokeswoman Wahida Shahkar said that two Afghan armyhelicopters were landing in Mandiqo area of the district when one of themcrashed due to a technical problem this morning.Six ANA personnel werekilled or wounded in the incident, she said without giving further details.
Minister of Defense Spokesman Jawid Ghafoor however narrates a differentcount of casualty. He told AfghanistanTimes that only six crewmembers wereinjured in the crash.
Alkozai Ahmadi, commander of the Afghan Forces Coordination Center inParwan, confirmed the helicopter crash, but provided no information aboutcasualties.
