ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s lawmaker and Parliamentary Secretaryfor Law and Justice Maleeka Ali Bokhari has rejected her appointment asChairperson of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).
Maleeka wrote on Twitter that she categorically puts it on record thatneither she had been appointed as head of BISP nor she was related to ZulfiBokhari.
Earlier, it emerged on media that President Dr Arif Alvi has appointedMaleeka Ali Bukhari as chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP)on the advice of the Prime Minister.

“Maleeka Ali Bukhari is appointed as chairperson Benazir Income SupportProgramme (BISP), in terms of section 5 (3) of Benazir Income SupportProgramme Act, 2010, with immediate effect and until further orders,” anotification circulating in media said.
