1.5 billion economic booster for Pakistan from World Bank

ISLAMABAD – World Bank will disburse around 1.5 billion dollars thisfinancial year for various projects in Pakistan as part of its activeprogram.

This was stated by Country Director of the Bank, Patchamuthu Illangovan, ata meeting with Federal Minister for Planning, Khusro Bakhtyar in Islamabadtoday.

During the meeting, various World Bank funded projects came underdiscussion.
