Pakistan – Iran economic ties further strengthened

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Iran have inched closer towards better economic relations between the two states.

A meeting of Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet was held in Islamabad on Monday with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair.

The meeting gave approval for the agreement between State Bank of Pakistan and Central Bank of Iran.

It has also extended withholding tax policy on non-filers till 31st December. The meeting approved increase in the regulatory duty from forty to sixty percent on import of wheat. ECC approved export of one hundred thousand tones of Calcium Ammonium Nitrate.
