ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has expressed deep concern over the flying ofanti-Pakistan banners, unruly conduct of certain group of spectators towardPakistan team players, and scuffles during the Pakistan-Afghanistan WorldCup cricket match.

In a statement today, Foreign Office Spokesperson said that use of sportsvenues for such malicious propaganda is unacceptable.

He said Pakistan expects all relevant authorities, both sports and lawenforcement, to thoroughly investigate the matter and bring thoseresponsible to account.

He said the matter is also being taken up through diplomatic channels.
