Maryam Nawaz to contest general elections from NA 125 Lahore as an independent candidate

LAHORE – Maryam Nawaz will contest forthcoming general election from NA-125as an independent candidate.

The Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) Returning Officer (RO) AsifBashir has allotted Pencil symbol to Maryam Nawaz after she announced tocontest election from NA-125 as independent candidate.

The electoral symbol was allotted to the PML-N leader on the application ofher lawyer.

Maryam Nawaz had submitted nomination papers for NA-125 as an independentcandidate and she hadn’t withdrawn her papers yesterday (Friday) on thelast day to withdraw nomination papers.
