KARACHI – Few social media posts have suggested the death of formerPakistan President Pervaiz Musharraf in Dubai.
However the spokesperson for the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) hasrejected rumours regarding the death of former president General (retd)Pervez Musharraf.
The APML chief is well and under treatment in the United Arab Emirates(UAE).
In a statement on Thursday, secretary-general of Musharraf’s APML partyMehrene Malik Adam said Musharraf was in good health and was currentlyundergoing medical treatment in Dubai.
She asked all wish-wishers of the former president to pray for his completeand swift recovery.
According to his lawyer, Musharraf, who has been living in Dubai for thelast three years, is suffering from several diseases, including a rarelife-threatening disease.
In March, the APML said Musharraf was admitted to a hospital aftersuffering a reaction from a rare disease that weakened his nervous system.
