The federal government has withdrawn its claim to end load shedding inthe country from May 1 and announced to continue load shedding up to50% from Sunday.
According to a statement issued by the Power Division, load sheddingwill be reduced by 50 per cent from Sunday and power generation willbe increased by 2,000 MW from May 1.
According to the statement, load shedding in different areas will bereduced by 50%.
