ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Office responds over media reports of increasein salary of Prime Minister.
The spokesperson for Prime Minister’s Office has strongly denied the mediareport about increase in salary of the Prime Minister.
In a statement, the spokesperson said publication of such baseless andconcocted report is highly regretted when the Prime Minister is running acampaign to reduce government’s expenditures in every possible manner andhe also started it from his own personality.

The spokesperson said amending the salaries and perks of the President andthe Prime Minister at a recent cabinet meeting on the directive of thePrime Minister, it was decided that only one residence will henceforth bedeclared as camp office for President and Prime Minister.
