The IG Balochistan has stated regarding the Mastung explosion that DSP Nawaz Gorchani of the Balochistan Constabulary prevented a suicide bomber and embraced martyrdom.
On Friday morning, near a mosque in Mastung district of Balochistan, a suicide blast, including 40 individuals, including DSP, were martyred, while 80 were injured, with many in critical condition.
After the explosion, IG Balochistan, while speaking to the media, said that in the blast, DSP Nawaz Gorchani of the Balochistan Constabulary prevented a suicide bomber and sacrificed himself. Three police officers are also injured in this explosion.
The IG stated that the purpose of terrorism is to create instability and insecurity in Balochistan. Orders have been given to take action against the elements involved in the blast and their facilitators.
