SAARC conference not canceled in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (APP): Minister of State for Privatization Muhammad Zubair on Wednesday said South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) was not canceled in Pakistan.

No country in the world could improve its economy without regional trade, he said talking to a private news channel.

The minister said that India should avoid to level baseless allegations against Pakistan.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif wanted to continue dialogue process with India to resolve all outstanding issues including Kashmir dispute, he added.

He said the Prime Minister had delivered a comprehensive speech in United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and the main focus of his address was Kashmir issue.

Muhammad Zubair said the Prime Minister was determined to improve ties with all neighboring countries including India and Afghanistan.

Commenting on Indian extremists threats to Pakistani actors, he said Bollywood Director Karan Johar had faced difficulties after given remarks in favor of Pakistani actors.

Pakistan demands international probe into the Uri attack in IOK

The extremists protested before Karan house and later they were dispersed by police.

To a question, he said the government was committed to fulfill its promises made in Kisan package and their issues would be resolved on priority.
