LAHORE - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced a 15-member squad for Emerging Teams Asia Cup, commencing from December 6 in Karachi and Colombo.
The squad was named by a selection committee, headed by former Pakistan captain, Inzamam ul Haq, said a spokesman for the PCB here.
He said that Muhammad Rizwan has been named captain of the team, which will face Hong Kong in the opening match at National Stadium on December 6. On Dec 7, Pakistan will play against the UAE at NSK; whereas, on Dec 9, Pakistan will feature against Bangladesh at the same venue.
Pakistan squad: Sahibzada Farhan, Zeeshan Malik, Ali Imran, Hussain Talat, Saad Ali, Khushdil Shah, Saud Shakil, Muhammad Rizwan (Captain) (WK), Ashiq Ali, Muhammad Asghar, Ghulam Mudassar, Sameen Gul, Musa Khan, Muhammad Ilyas and Suleman Shafqat.
Team Management: Team manager, Col (retd) Syed Naushad Ali, head coach, Ejaz Junior, assistant coach, Mohammad Masroor, fielding coach, Saqib Faqir, analyst, Zubair Ahmed, trainer Saboor Ahmed and Physio, Imtiaz Khan.
