LAHORE: (APP) The Lahore High Court (LHC) and the Punjab IT Board (PITB) held an exclusive LHC IT Fair 2016 at the Punjab Judicial Academy, on Friday.

The fair showcased all of the IT initiatives developed for judiciary in order to streamline judicial processes and ensure transparency.

Judges, lawyers and all stakeholders and the media attended the fair. The event gave a unique platform to all 36 districts of Punjab to showcase their IT interventions pertaining to judiciary.

LHC Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah visited various stalls with Chairman PITB Dr Umar Saif and got acquainted with the IT initiatives including PITB's Cause List Management System, Litigant Feedback Monitoring Programme, helplines and Enterprise Case Flow Management.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief justice appreciated Dr Umar Saif and the PITB team for their tireless efforts and providing technical assistance to the IT wing of the court. He said it would play a key role in provision of speedy justice to people.

Dr Saif said on the occasion that Justice Mansoor Ali Shah was a visionary man who believed in reformation, timely justice and transparency.

The LHC awarded certificate of appreciation to PITB team, led by Joint Director IT Kashif Farooq for their persistence and remarkable achievements.
