Pakistan seek another big diplomatic victory against India at the top international forum

LAHORE– European Parliament is ready to mediate between Pakistan and Indiaif both the countries agreed to the proposal.

European Parliament Vice President Fabio Massimo Castaldo stated whileaddressing a joint press conference with Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar.

Fabio Massimo Castaldo also criticized human rights violations in IndianOccupied Kashmir (IoK).

Talking about anarchy in India after introduction of controversial IndianCitizenship Amendment Act, Fabio Massimo said the European parliamentrejects it as it believes in the protection of religious, cultural, dignityand values of people.

Earlier, China has urged Pakistan and India to exercise restraint andpeacefullylinkdisputes through dialogue.

During his regular briefing, Chinese Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson GengShuang said that as a neighbor to both China calls on both sides toexercise restraint and refrain from taking actions that will escalatetensions.

While commenting on latest situation on the Line of Control (LoC), he said,“We have noted the relevant reports and we are following the situation.”
