Gilgit Baltistan Chief Minister Hafeez-ur-Rehman has given approval to extension in service of contractual employees and Director General of Rescue 1122.

The Chief Minister has also taken serious notice of non- payment of salaries to Rescue 1122 employees for the last six months.

He sanctioned over fifty million rupees and directed the relevant department to pay the outstanding salaries within a week.
