LAHORE – Former president and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman
Asif Ali Zardari will today (Thursday) meet Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT)
chief Dr Tahirul Qadri in Lahore.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to ongoing political situation and
strategies for All Party Conference (APC) will come under discussion. Model
Town incident issue will also be discussed.
The meeting was earlier scheduled to take place on December 28 (Thursday),
but it had been delayed by one day owing to the PPP leader’s personal
engagements.
On Wednesday, former president and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP)
co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Mushaikh Azzam president Pir Khawaja
Attaullah Taunsvi assured Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul
Qadri of attending the All Parties Conference (APC) called against the
incumbent government.
Tahirul Qadri had also contacted Mushaikh Azzam president Pir Khawaja
Attaullah Taunsvi and invited him to participate in the All Parties
Conference. The Mushaikh Azzam president assured the PAT leader of
attending the conference.
