ISLAMABAD: A prominent Chinese strategic analyst has publicly declared thatBeijing will never hesitate to provide Pakistan with its most advancedmilitary hardware and cutting-edge software technology whenever required.
Speaking at an international security forum, Victor Gao, Vice President ofthe Center for China and Globalization, emphasised that China remains fullycommitted to ensuring Pakistan’s geographical unity and territorialintegrity under all circumstances.
“China will spare no effort in safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty,” Gaostated, adding that the transfer of state-of-the-art defence systems andsophisticated software capabilities forms an integral part of the ironcladbilateral partnership.
The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions and growing concernsover external interference in Pakistan’s internal affairs, particularlyalong its western border and in Balochistan province.
Analysts interpret Gao’s statement as a clear message to adversaries thatany attempt to undermine Pakistan’s stability would face resoluteopposition from Beijing, reinforcing the all-weather strategic cooperativepartnership.
Pakistan and China have steadily deepened defence cooperation in recentyears, with joint production of JF-17 fighter aircraft, naval frigates, andadvanced missile systems serving as prime examples of technology transfer.
