First Lady Begum Samina advised President Dr. Arif Alvi to leave politicsbut expressed her commitment to support him if he continues in politics. Ina special interview with Samaa, she mentioned that she used to urge herhusband to quit politics and focus on education, but if the Presidentreturns to politics, she will certainly stand by him. She also stated thatafter leaving the Presidency, there is a plan for relaxation and leisure.
Begum Samina Alvi expressed deep concern about the rising incidence ofbreast cancer among women, stating that 12 to 14-year-old girls are alsosuffering from breast cancer.
She emphasized the need to raise awareness about this life-threateningdisease not only among women but also among men. Women need to inform themen in their families about the disease for proper treatment to be possible.
First Lady raised her voice on the increasing prevalence of mental healthissues and suicides, highlighting the importance of discussing theseserious issues.
