Captain of the Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma, has proposed to makecricket more interesting. Rohit Sharma suggested that if a player hits a 80or 90-meter six, they should earn 8 runs, while a six longer than 100meters should be rewarded with 10 runs.
He argued that hitting such long sixes should have some added benefit, ashitting the ball to the boundary or just beyond it only results in 6 runs.
Rohit Sharma also mentioned that it’s unfair that players like Chris Gayleand Kieron Pollard hit such long sixes while they hit shorter ones.
