Peshawar: In a joint operation by the police and security forces in theMardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the commander of the bannedTehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) group, Faisal Afghani, has been killed.
According to officials, the slain terrorist Faisal Afghani was associatedwith Afghanistan’s Kunar region and was also linked to the Bhata KhurMohsin Qadir group.
Furthermore, in the district of Mohmand, the police and security forcesconducted a joint operation and recovered a large cache of modern weaponsfrom a warehouse.
